I'm a psychotherapist with over 30 years of clinical social work experience. I have a unique specialization in women's health, focusing on infertility, pregnancy issues, postpartum, and parenting. I also have a passion working with all clients from young adulthood to empty nesters, who are struggling with life transitions, work/life balance, and grief & loss. I provide a nurturing and collaborative approach, where I am committed to helping clients achieve insight, regain hope and move forward to live their best lives. I offer both telehealth and in-person appointments. On Tuesdays and Thursdays, I see clients at my private practice office located in Memorial/Hedwig Village. On Mondays and Wednesdays, I serve as the Mental Health Consultant for CCRM Fertility Center, where I provide counseling, Third- Party Reproduction Intended Parent Consults, and Donor Gamete and Gestational Carrier Psychological Evaluations. I am a graduate of The University of Texas (BS Psychology) and Florida State University (MSW). I have completed advanced training in Bereavement, Reproductive Health Psychology, Postpartum Mood Disorders, Trauma-Informed Care, Oncology, and Clinical Social Work Supervision. Kristin Malejan, LMSW Kristin is a Licensed Master Social Worker who has worked in the h​ealthcare and aging industry in Houston for over 15 years. Kristin earned her Master's in Social Work from the University of Houston in 2007 and her Bachelor's in Social Work from Texas Christian University in 2006. Kristin has a special interest in women's health issues such as infertility, miscarriage and high-risk pregnancy. After a long journey experiencing infertility herself, Kristin has taken a particular interest in supporting clients who are walking through their own reproductive health situations. In addition, Kristin has experience working with issues of anxiety, depression, grief and life changes in work and relationships. Through active listening and guidance, as well as providing resources and tools, Kristin strives to help clients recognize their strengths and identify new visions for their life.
